Path parameters
Parameters | |
---|---|
project |
Project ID for this request. |
zone |
The name of the zone where the managed instance group is located. |
instanceGroupManager |
The name of the managed instance group. Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource
|
Query parameters
Parameters | |
---|---|
requestId |
An optional request ID to identify requests. Specify a unique request ID so that if you must retry your request, the server will know to ignore the request if it has already been completed. For example, consider a situation where you make an initial request and the request times out. If you make the request again with the same request ID, the server can check if original operation with the same request ID was received, and if so, will ignore the second request. This prevents clients from accidentally creating duplicate commitments. The request ID must be a valid UUID with the exception that zero UUID is not supported (
). |
Request body
The request body contains data with the following structure:
JSON representation |
---|
{ "targetPools": [ string ], "fingerprint": string } |
Fields | |
---|---|
targetPools[] |
The list of target pool URLs that instances in this managed instance group belong to. The managed instance group applies these target pools to all of the instances in the group. Existing instances and new instances in the group all receive these target pool settings. Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource
|
fingerprint |
The fingerprint of the target pools information. Use this optional property to prevent conflicts when multiple users change the target pools settings concurrently. Obtain the fingerprint with the method. Then, include the fingerprint in your request to ensure that you do not overwrite changes that were applied from another concurrent request. A base64-encoded string. |
Response body
If successful, the response body contains an instance of Operation
