Class WireGroupsClient (1.92.0)

GitHub RepositoryProduct Reference

Service Description: The WireGroups API.

This class provides the ability to make remote calls to the backing service through method calls that map to API methods. Sample code to get started:

 // This snippet has been automatically generated and should be regarded as a code template only.
 // It will require modifications to work:
 // - It may require correct/in-range values for request initialization.
 // - It may require specifying regional endpoints when creating the service client as shown in
 // https://cloud.google.com/java/docs/setup#configure_endpoints_for_the_client_library
 try (WireGroupsClient wireGroupsClient = WireGroupsClient.create()) {
   String project = "project-309310695";
   String crossSiteNetwork = "crossSiteNetwork1009388679";
   String wireGroup = "wireGroup-970399494";
   WireGroup response = wireGroupsClient.get(project, crossSiteNetwork, wireGroup);
 }

Note: close() needs to be called on the WireGroupsClient object to clean up resources such as threads. In the example above, try-with-resources is used, which automatically calls close().

Methods
Method Description Method Variants

Delete

Deletes the specified wire group in the given scope.

Request object method variants only take one parameter, a request object, which must be constructed before the call.

  • deleteAsync(DeleteWireGroupRequest request)

Methods that return long-running operations have "Async" method variants that return OperationFuture, which is used to track polling of the service.

  • deleteAsync(String project, String crossSiteNetwork, String wireGroup)

Callable method variants take no parameters and return an immutable API callable object, which can be used to initiate calls to the service.

  • deleteOperationCallable()

  • deleteCallable()

Get

Gets the specified wire group resource in the given scope.

Request object method variants only take one parameter, a request object, which must be constructed before the call.

  • get(GetWireGroupRequest request)

"Flattened" method variants have converted the fields of the request object into function parameters to enable multiple ways to call the same method.

  • get(String project, String crossSiteNetwork, String wireGroup)

Callable method variants take no parameters and return an immutable API callable object, which can be used to initiate calls to the service.

  • getCallable()

Insert

Creates a wire group in the specified project in the given scope using the parameters that are included in the request.

Request object method variants only take one parameter, a request object, which must be constructed before the call.

  • insertAsync(InsertWireGroupRequest request)

Methods that return long-running operations have "Async" method variants that return OperationFuture, which is used to track polling of the service.

  • insertAsync(String project, String crossSiteNetwork, WireGroup wireGroupResource)

Callable method variants take no parameters and return an immutable API callable object, which can be used to initiate calls to the service.

  • insertOperationCallable()

  • insertCallable()

List

Lists the wire groups for a project in the given scope.

Request object method variants only take one parameter, a request object, which must be constructed before the call.

  • list(ListWireGroupsRequest request)

"Flattened" method variants have converted the fields of the request object into function parameters to enable multiple ways to call the same method.

  • list(String project, String crossSiteNetwork)

Callable method variants take no parameters and return an immutable API callable object, which can be used to initiate calls to the service.

  • listPagedCallable()

  • listCallable()

Patch

Updates the specified wire group resource with the data included in the request. This method supportsPATCH semantics and usesJSON merge patch format and processing rules.

Request object method variants only take one parameter, a request object, which must be constructed before the call.

  • patchAsync(PatchWireGroupRequest request)

Methods that return long-running operations have "Async" method variants that return OperationFuture, which is used to track polling of the service.

  • patchAsync(String project, String crossSiteNetwork, String wireGroup, WireGroup wireGroupResource)

Callable method variants take no parameters and return an immutable API callable object, which can be used to initiate calls to the service.

  • patchOperationCallable()

  • patchCallable()

See the individual methods for example code.

Many parameters require resource names to be formatted in a particular way. To assist with these names, this class includes a format method for each type of name, and additionally a parse method to extract the individual identifiers contained within names that are returned.

This class can be customized by passing in a custom instance of WireGroupsSettings to create(). For example:

To customize credentials:

 // This snippet has been automatically generated and should be regarded as a code template only.
 // It will require modifications to work:
 // - It may require correct/in-range values for request initialization.
 // - It may require specifying regional endpoints when creating the service client as shown in
 // https://cloud.google.com/java/docs/setup#configure_endpoints_for_the_client_library
 WireGroupsSettings wireGroupsSettings =
     WireGroupsSettings.newBuilder()
         .setCredentialsProvider(FixedCredentialsProvider.create(myCredentials))
         .build();
 WireGroupsClient wireGroupsClient = WireGroupsClient.create(wireGroupsSettings);

To customize the endpoint:

 // This snippet has been automatically generated and should be regarded as a code template only.
 // It will require modifications to work:
 // - It may require correct/in-range values for request initialization.
 // - It may require specifying regional endpoints when creating the service client as shown in
 // https://cloud.google.com/java/docs/setup#configure_endpoints_for_the_client_library
 WireGroupsSettings wireGroupsSettings =
     WireGroupsSettings.newBuilder().setEndpoint(myEndpoint).build();
 WireGroupsClient wireGroupsClient = WireGroupsClient.create(wireGroupsSettings);

Parameter
Name Description
request PatchWireGroupRequest

The request object containing all of the parameters for the API call.

Returns
Type Description
OperationFuture<Operation,Operation>

patchAsync(String project, String crossSiteNetwork, String wireGroup, WireGroup wireGroupResource)

public final OperationFuture<Operation,Operation> patchAsync(String project, String crossSiteNetwork, String wireGroup, WireGroup wireGroupResource)

Updates the specified wire group resource with the data included in the request. This method supportsPATCH semantics and usesJSON merge patch format and processing rules.
