À propos des licences
Une licence est un contrat d'utilisation entre vous et un fournisseur de logiciels. Pour utiliser un logiciel sous licence fourni par Trusted Cloud by S3NS, vous devez disposer d'une licence. Par exemple, si vous exécutez un système d'exploitation (OS) sous licence sur une instance de machine virtuelle (VM) Compute Engine, vous devez disposer d'une licence pour ce système d'exploitation.
Une chaîne de licence est une ressource qui associe un contrat d'utilisation à un système d'exploitation sous licence, une mise à niveau du système d'exploitation ou un logiciel supplémentaire. Pour obtenir la liste des chaînes de licence associées à chaque système d'exploitation compatible avec Compute Engine, consultez la page Détails des systèmes d'exploitation.

Types de licences et tarification
Les licences disponibles sur Compute Engine sont de l'un des types suivants : Pour en savoir plus sur les types de licences applicables à chaque version d'OS, consultez la section Licence de la page Détails des systèmes d'exploitation.
- Licences gratuites
- Sans frais d'utilisation.
- À la demande, paiement à l'usage (PAYG)
Trusted Cloud facture l'utilisation. Le coût varie selon le système d'exploitation. Pour en savoir plus, consultez les tarifs des images premium.
L'image fournie par Google contient des améliorations susceptibles de ne pas être incluses si vous utilisez votre propre image d'OS.
- "Bring Your Own License" (BYOL)/"Bring Your Own Subscription" (BYOS)
Trusted Cloud ne vous facture pas, car vous avez déjà conclu un contrat avec le fournisseur d'OS d'origine. Si vous disposez de licences BYOL pour des versions de serveur ou de client Windows, vous devez utiliser des nœuds à locataire unique.
Les chaînes de licence pour BYOL et BYOS se terminent par byol ou byos. Si la chaîne de licence ne se termine pas par byol ou byos, il s'agit d'une licence gratuite ou à la demande/PAYG.

- Passer d'Ubuntu à Ubuntu Pro
Les versions d'Ubuntu suivantes sont arrivées en fin de maintenance :
- Ubuntu 16.04 LTS : 21 avril 2021
- Ubuntu 18.04 LTS : 31 mai 2023

- Utiliser SQL Server sous Linux
