SYNOPSIS
gcloud alpha compute hosts describe (HOST_NAME : --association=ASSOCIATION --zone=ZONE) [--reservation=RESERVATION] [--reservation-block=RESERVATION_BLOCK] [GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG …]
DESCRIPTION
(ALPHA) Describe a Google Compute Engine host.
EXAMPLES
To describe a host named my-host in zone us-central1-a: 
gcloud alpha compute hosts describe my-host --zone=us-central1-a
POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS
Host resource - The name of the host to describe. The arguments in this group can be used to specify the attributes of this resource. (NOTE) Some attributes are not given arguments in this group but can be set in other ways.

To set the project attribute:

  • provide the argument host_name on the command line with a fully specified name;
  • provide the argument --project on the command line;
  • set the property core/project.

This must be specified.

HOST_NAME
ID of the host or fully qualified identifier for the host.

To set the host_name attribute:

  • provide the argument host_name on the command line.

This positional argument must be specified if any of the other arguments in this group are specified.

--association=ASSOCIATION
The association of the host.

To set the association attribute:

  • provide the argument host_name on the command line with a fully specified name;
  • provide the argument --association on the command line;
  • Fallback for association.
--zone=ZONE
The name of the Google Compute Engine zone.

To set the zone attribute:

  • provide the argument host_name on the command line with a fully specified name;
  • provide the argument --zone on the command line;
  • set the property compute/zone.
FLAGS
--reservation=RESERVATION
Name of the reservation the host is associated with.
--reservation-block=RESERVATION_BLOCK
Name of the reservation block the host is associated with.
GCLOUD WIDE FLAGS
These flags are available to all commands: --access-token-file, --account, --billing-project, --configuration, --flags-file, --flatten, --format, --help, --impersonate-service-account, --log-http, --project, --quiet, --trace-token, --user-output-enabled, --verbosity.
