INFORMATION
gcloud alpha compute networks test-iam-permissions is supported in universe domain universe; however, some of the values used in the help text may not be available. Command examples may not work as-is and may requires changes before execution.

gcloud alpha compute networks test-iam-permissions - test IAM permissions for a Compute Engine network
SYNOPSIS
gcloud alpha compute networks test-iam-permissions NETWORK --permissions=[PERMISSIONS,…] [GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG]
DESCRIPTION
(ALPHA) Returns permissions that a caller has on the specified network.
EXAMPLES
To test if the caller has 'compute.networks.get' permission on a network my-network, run:
gcloud alpha compute networks test-iam-permissions my-network --permissions=compute.networks.get
POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS
Network resource - The network for which to test permissions. This represents a Cloud resource. (NOTE) Some attributes are not given arguments in this group but can be set in other ways.

To set the project attribute:

  • provide the argument network on the command line with a fully specified name;
  • provide the argument --project on the command line;
  • set the property core/project.

This must be specified.

NETWORK
ID of the network or fully qualified identifier for the network.

To set the network attribute:

  • provide the argument network on the command line.
REQUIRED FLAGS
--permissions=[PERMISSIONS,…]
The permissions to test.
GCLOUD WIDE FLAGS
These flags are available to all commands: --access-token-file, --account, --billing-project, --configuration, --flags-file, --flatten, --format, --help, --impersonate-service-account, --log-http, --project, --quiet, --trace-token, --user-output-enabled, --verbosity.
